How do I make additional investments?
You may make ad hoc top-ups any time you like, or implement regular top-ups. Your source of top-up premium funding must be the same as your initial investment. Your top-up premium will be invested according to your original fund allocation unless you have elected to change your fund allocation for ad hoc and / or regular top-ups.
For ad hoc top-ups, the minimum top-up amount is S$1,000, with a per fund minimum of S$50. If you funded your initial investment using cash (as opposed to SRS), you may make your top-up using cash, nets, cheque, bank draft, internet banking, telegraphic transfer, or vPost. You will need to submit a transaction request form along with any payment (if relevant) to AIA. This form is available here.
You may implement regular top-ups at a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual frequency. The minimum top-up amount is S$300 for monthly or quarterly, S$500 for semi-annual, and S$1,000 for annual top-ups. In addition to the payment methods available for ad hoc top-ups, you may also use GIRO for regular top-ups. You may implement your regular top-ups at the point of application by indicating your preference on the application form. You may implement regular top-ups at any time after application by submitting a transaction request form along with any payment instruction (if relevant) to AIA. This form is available here.

How do I add a new fund to my portfolio?
You can add a new fund to your portfolio by performing a fund switch, or by changing your fund allocation for top-ups. The minimum initial subscription amount per fund is S$1,000. If you are funding your policy using SRS monies, any fund you switch into must be approved under the SRS.

How do I make a fund switch?
You may make fund switches online or by submitting a transaction request form to AIA. This form is available here. The minimum amount per fund switch is S$100. There is no limitation on the number of fund switches1. If you are funding your policy using SRS monies, any fund you switch into must be approved under the SRS.

How do I make a withdrawal?
Withdrawals can be made any time after the policy’s free look period by submitting a transaction request form to AIA. This form is available here. The minimum amount per withdrawal is S$1,000 and the policy value after the withdrawal cannot be less than S$1,000. Should you make a full withdrawal, your policy will terminate1. The amount payable to you for full or partial withdrawal will be based on the number of units redeemed and the redemption price of the units. Withdrawals to policies funded by cash will be paid by cheque and delivered via post to the address on record.

How do I change my fund allocation?
You may change your current fund allocation by performing fund switches. You may change your fund allocation for future top-ups by submitting a transaction request form to AIA. This form is available here. You may specify a different fund allocation for ad hoc top-ups and regular top-ups.
